My Xbox 360 Crashed Twice

Never had this problem before.

I was playing and my xbox just crashed once after 5 mins. The second time it crashed after 5 mins again but this time some weird lines came on the screen and a sort of high pitched sound came from my TV. I switched the console on again to check if it got the RROD, it didn't. :pop:

It is in a sort of confined space with my hot PC fan blowing near it it. (Stupid, I know) When I get my new PC it will be in another place and the xbox will be in a more well ventilated area. I won't use it again until it is in a more well ventilated area.

Do you think that it will survive for much longer, should I worry? Baring in mind that it is a fairly new model. (2008).

You're about to get the RRoD. Same happened to me. Keep it off for a while and put it near a widnow or something...someone cool. Games freeze too. Don't worry though. MS has a 3 year warranty on the RRoD. Just fill in the details on their website for a RRoD repair and then phone UPS and they're arrange a pickup from home.
Got mine back in under a week. Which is faster than they're 2-3 weeks ETA. Plus you get any other faults fixed for free. I got a new Disc drive for example :D
Oh and you get a free 1 month XBL card too.


You might not even get the RRoD. But be prepared for the worse. Could just be some other problems....

Poor 360  :(. R.I.P. and did you buy and crap called Intercooler? That's bull crap. since it runs on USB, it will overheat your 360.

Well, RRoD sucks, I've got it twice, I was fortunate enough though to leave it for a while, and the RRoD was gone. Try leaving it for a day, or two maybe and see if it goes, still, sorry to hear man.

I got the RROD at the right time to be honnest because I just got a new gaming PC. :)

I'll get it repaired and then sell it. Xbox 360 sucks.

:ps: No, I didn't use an intercooler.
