Your right in one aspect, it shoudl not of been in public chat BUT that was only way to reach all those involved
ALSO says alot when YOU complain about this yet have got in trouble for FLAMING and had your ARPD rights removed.

I agree, don't disable public chat, but there is no need to have a flame war in /p. If you wanna discuss with eachother, go near each other so you can talk in local or take a unowned CB channel.

You flame in there its just as bad, NO FLAMING is rules it does NOT SAY NO FLAMING WHERE OTHERS CAN SEE IT

CB, PM, any chat, forum its ALL SAME as far as flaming is concerned!

Admins get reports of flamings in PM, CB, and other various chats.  If we do nothing they YOU all start to flame the admins for not doing thier job, if we DO react then a few will flame us for doing our job.  So we look at simple fact, you break the server rules then we WILL REACT were possible

Regulars have NO EXCUSE, newplayers do but not for long as often many admins (I not saying all) will use pm's to give intial warnings, but that is often ignored so then we start to use the offical ways...

I even created a command that gives a brief list of our core rules, which include no flaming, its the same list you see on entry to server in blue !

Just because your target does not realise you flaming them does not mean its right, in fact its even worse cos its shows your incapable of facing up to that person on a level footing and admins are still requried to react as some DO understand non-english languages
