Windows Movie Maker keeps freezing!

Alright so im trying to use windows movie maker and it keeps freezing whenever I try to shorten a video. I usually have to ctr-alt-delete and stop it...... My ram is about 894 Megabytes, but I dont think thats the problem. I also read on other forums that I might have to turn off some of my running codecs, how do I do that? Or does anyone knows what else could be causing this? Its very annoying.

Did you try any other video editing software?

Get Sony Vegas 8.0 pro you can crack it just search on youtube there is loads of videos on how to crack it and it atcually works!
