Actually, yes. Why don't I summarise what I have already planned/carried out...

I am planning to officially close VCN/AEVC shortly - BUT! - that's just the very beginning. Obviously due to the original owner now being inactive, there have been a line of knock on effects. Therefore, I am planning to release a whole new project with the same idea behind it, with a bunch of new features and updates. There will be a set of changes, but I have already looked into uploading and publishing the articles/a private forums for the new project.

I have also had to fully break from Argonath Express as there has been very little coming from their side.

Things are mostly falling into place now, but I plan to get things going in the coming weeks.

Another new thing that I would like to put forward this time round is a kind of "community aspect" to the newspaper, which will hopefully promote our server and contribute to keeping things up and active. Hopefully we can involve a fair few people in this project. What would everyone think on setting up the new project as the "official" newspaper/communications board for VC:MP? Rather than exclusing it to certain type of content, I was planning to keep it fairly open. This is purely to support the server's interests. Also, I know people were thinking about pay and so on, especially as the old project had a mini payroll system. I have been thinking on the funding side of things, and while I will be covering most of it, some things will be on a more voluntary basis, and I am still looking into that side of things.

Once this is released, maybe we could put up an area somewhere on the main website/general board of Argonath as a new method to promote the server - all ideas right now.

And of course, we need a team of people to officially run it, and here are those that have already been interested:

- Painkiller

Those people from the old team are free to continue:
- Marcus
- Luk1w (Inactive from Argo, though I spoke to him on MSN recently)
- Willy_Stracci (Inactive - unless under another name?)
- XXXtreme (Inactive, though he was on Argonath a few days ago)

Though not quite official, I think it is that time when people can now put themselves forward - without any specific roles, but more so to help in the project. If you are interested, please drop a message here. Everyone is welcome to show their interest.

This may guarantee you a place among the main team selections of the coming project!

Stracci did do pretty well. I knew about Marcus, but Willy is SpiralRock? Wow, I didn't know him much back them (except as the person who got me coffee - nahhh xD), being slightly newer.
Yea, I probably have XXXtreme somewhere on my list too, but I am not too sure. Hm, thinking about that, it's funny because I don't think I even have you on my MSN. :razz:
