FBI are not a part of ARPD, they specialise in investigations and nagotiations. Whereas SWAT are a highly trained unit that specialise in assaults and dangerous operations.

FBI isn't better than anyone else. And ya, you could say they do normal cop work, but they focuse on stuff like kidnaps for example.

Doing special situation, attack with planning, saving hostage and arrest every criminal if possible
Such as Robbery/kidnap/hostage/bomb threat operation, they will break in with Beanbag ammo and shoot everyone if none can be identify as hostage or criminal, or if sure, they will break in with taser or beanbag to stun criminal and arrest alive. Or if situation is too serious, they will use real ammo to terminate dangerous criminals. They always plan and most of the time have sniper to specate the area.

Undercover, Spying, Fake drug/weapons dealing, arresting every wanted criminals/terrorists if possible or kill if in the Death Wanted list. For example Osama Biladen was in FBI Top 10 Most Wanted and Death Wanted (If I didn't remember wrong)
FBI take care operations as SWAT too but in different roll.
They don't use beanbag or taser, they use only firearms. To arrest or kill criminals/terrorists.
They negoatiate with criminals first.

FBI - Do NOT patrol. But spying/undercovering around. Without uniform. Vehicle is unmarked (Siren will be inside the vehicle. example: FBI Rancher, Sentinel)

If you like investigating, dealing with negotiations and doing undercover work, then FBI is better. On the other hand, if you like prefer dong normal police work like traffic patrols or just chasing down suspects, then SAPD (cadet) is better. It's pretty much up to what you prefer doing.

As for SWAT, they're more do to with assaulting and dealing with high risk situations using Special Weapons And Tactics.

Posts above tell the difference.. but forgot to mention some things.

SWAT is invite only.. meaning if you do very very good in SAPD, you might get invited.

FBI is apply, but yet we only accept non criminals and people with good police experience.

Now there is 1 similarity with SWAT and FBI.

We both get weapon equip command. FBI is trained to assault.. but we only assault when there is no full SWAT team available. If we know there is a full SWAT team online, we call them to do dirty work. We will negotiate and do recon. Recon means to find out hostile positions and other useful information. We will do that, and relay the info to SWAT.

Many people STILL commit this mistake...

FBI IS PART OF ARPD, ARPD STANDS FOR EVERY POLICE DIVISION OF ARGONATH RPG. THE FBI IS NOT PART OF SAPD.

Choose what you like... You like action, 'kicking' criminals' rears, tactically moving in while others do the talking job - do a good work hoping to be invited to SWAT.
You like to watch the criminals, investigate them, do the intelligence work - join FBI.
