Hey Aragorn, it is awesome to see the old guard coming back.

Most of the community activity now happens on the discord servers (Argonath V:MP and Argonath RPG). This is probably the biggest change I saw me and Haldir returned in April (and march 2019 briefly).

So, I'm a new member here and have been here since One and a Half months.

Even though the Server was not that populated, I just decided to stay. 

Now I see people trashtalking and saying "Pull the Plug". And that sentence is what kills the server and demoralises the 10 players who like to log in generally daily. Anyways, this topic is not for that.

I'd say that we are in a bad condition now. So Help us if you can..

Hey my old friend, glad to see you guys are still here it will make things clear up easier even though knowing Aragorn's methods of handling the servers not sure what is better - that I arrived or better to keep it without iron prime minister )))
As for discord I hear about it the first time from you all, I will check it up, but for now I cannot sit long at my comp so forums for me are better - I can write message and then come-n-check...
Besides it I would like to here multiple opinions from everyone and thats better in a reading format then chatting - for me it is easier to remember every word of you... So with discord will take time for me to arrive - I am here right now...

Discord is even easier in that it's live messaging a little like MSN or Skype, just better in that there are community servers as well as direct messaging. Be sure to get it, its even more versatile than chatting over the forums!

And no its ok - I am interested in everything about Argonath nowadays
If to settle things correct Argonath can be a very cool gaming portal with its own world and life )))
Hope we are still in a good condition to return the server which was famous in a past

Well partly I moved away from Argonath cos I got tired of hundreds chats ))) Thats why I need my slow rising activity not an explosion of tons of messages ))) Otherwise I will run away again

In all seriousness though, be sure to get Discord and swing by sometime, you'll actually find it pretty awesome especially when it comes to discussions! (Once you get fully reintegrated with the community again as you mentioned though )

We are glad to see you after this absence, we as argonithians, veterans, regulars who heard alot about the history, and community members..

I want to address from what I see that we got problems in:
First: GTA IV/EFLC:
1-The server over years got rise and downs, till it's finally down again, there was a transition for the server, thanks to it's developer, who made us a new client for it, because the old T3 version was buggy dead project, currently the server is on the recent T4 version, recent project, and soon it will get shutdown because of the end of services of T4 project, after the developer got disappointed from it, due to lack of player base, due to lack of support from where, I have no idea, but the management was slow.

Now the GTA IV/EFLC:MP in argonath, Don't have Leader for it, Don't have developer, as consequences, there were no players to join a dead server, there was a chance to get populated but the old thinking of other players when you open a topic about GTA IV/EFLC they start moaning about the old T3 version which was buggy and they didn't try to test it out either, misjudgment from my opinion.

Server last plans before no leaders leave/disappointed/idle, was moving on to a new client, CitizenMP Client, which uses original codes of sync, where we can find the best sync there, what stops this?
-Leader for the server, to decide where it should go, follow what vision... Etc
- Developer to make this change to move on a new client.

Moving on to GTA V, the story maybe connected

Second: GTA V on RageMP, the second attempt by the same team:
 After a fight/unreasonable/toxic behavior disappointing from others and expectations of too much from so little, that doesn't mean that the management was always right, or players were always right, the lack of communication between management and developer side and players who still have this old thinking without giving it sometime to develop, like a boiling an egg for one minute and expect it to not be raw and call it boiled egg.

GTA V grabbed alot of attention from whole community when it was announced in 2019, the basics of the server were taken from the GTA IV:MP server, but seems that people didn't like that and they didn't give time to see a change, everything was just moan/rush/where/expect too much from one, bad events happened, server activity dropped, developer got disappointed because he was attacked and no support from community members------------> First attempt I have attended*

Moving on, after the IV team whom volunteered to assist in making a server in GTA V, one by one went inactive/left/ we were left in a lost hope, then out of sudden good news, new team raised and promised a server on FiveM client ( the client where back then in 2015 were supposed argo to be there according to what I heard from the veterans)(one of them was in development team and he still with us nowadays).... We got teasers and good progress as it's done from scratch.
Time passes almost a year nothing changed, only problems and they decided to leave us, for management problem reasons, due to access or contacts with owners, no clear answer yet, what I have seen people opinions and rage outs, rumors, hates shit talks, no positive response on those -------> 3rd time in argonath history we get promised for a gta v server ( from what I know 1st was in 2015, then 2nd in 2019 which I have attended, and third in the same year from the team who didn't have access to smth or contacts with owners)

Then moving on...... The fourth time a gta v server should be raised

We finally get stable server, with active development, activity for almost 3 months, new people joined, but still the rest of the community have that old thinking (oh it's just a port from IV server, which they have never tried it's new client features before or they forgot the old legacy as Tai says)
They thought still it's like IV so as result of this, no support from them anymore, only talks like this, no veterans around, only regulars exist, and from whom are veterans, are either active leading smth, or just popping from time to time or just doing other things.. RL matters .. etc

Current status for GTA V on RageMP for who doesn't know, for who didn't try the latest updates, and more will come....
-the server yes is dead again, but this time we have active management, working on changing the things that people wanted from years, only community members support is not existing yet till now, if you ever open a talk with anyone about GTA IV/EFLC Or V server, they will open that old thoughts and tell you it's the same, while you can do the change by leading by an example, isn't it right?

That was my brief about what status I feel and I see now towards argonath, specifically to IV Community side and V Community Side

Gta V server is running on RageMP client, waiting you to introduce your gameplay which if you tried to lead and show by example would do a change, ofc rules in mind.

GTA:IV server is still resurrectable, I won't point on what went wrong and from whom but surely things went wrong.
Let's just recognize we have a problem and let's try to find a solution for it, that's all I ask for!
