Nowadays it is difficult for us to set a special timed chat with you. Therefore there are many questions that need to be solved or share your ideas/projects... With this we open the topic which will replace the chat which we had with developers and admins before...

You can ask your questions here or just simply talk...

Please, note the topic's head - it is the dialog with the owners of Argonath RPG... It means that the highest level people of the Argonath will answer your questions... Please, if you have problems that can be solved by other admins and developers - do not post it here... Otherwise we will just ignore such posts...

I have a question:

If someone has a bug which makes them lose money, and then contacts an admin, is it the admin's job to refund them? I have tried asking other admins this but a lot of them say things like "well sometimes I give them money, sometimes I don't" or "I have no idea"

Just wondering if there is a specific thing that we are supposed to do, as a lot of players come to us to refund them

Such things should be checked only by the server leaders, who have access to the logs... As you can understand that if admins will refund every such asks, there will appear at once those who want to cheat on it...
As about "Sometimes I give" mostly depends on the amount of lost money... For example 1000Argo$ not a problem to refund...

If it is about usage of /ad command for official advertising then:

- advertiser must have an "official" job... In your case with steel powder it should be "steel factory"...

The same was about "grass"... For advertising the grass for sale, advertiser should have minimum - plants/grass shop... Otherwise such advertisements are counting as abusing the official newspaper for illegal contents... In other words the commercial of advertiser should be proved by his business... You will not meet in real life newspaper advertising "selling powder" from the street boy...

If people buy house they do not own the road which is going near the house... If you want to own parking - buy it...
Parking is an independent commercial and can belong to anyone who wants to buy it, not to the owner of the nearest business... Roads are not for sale...
There can be only one problem: too much businesses will cause the number of it in the list which will cause problems for the database... That is why parkings are not a business on server and therefore cannot be owned...

Sauron is not a player or developer of the community... His tasks are different from Aragorn's or Gandalf's...

I am talking about Private roads. The road on verdant bluffs leads to no where but CM HQ. We should therefore own it. Ofcourse, it doesn't mean that no one can ever walk/drive on the road to CM HQ. However.. what's the point of paying such a large amount of such a property, when you do not own anything but the actual building? I don't think it will cause any problems, for anyone, if such private roads/other land came with a house..

I had this house before and did not see any reason to demand the ownership of the road...
I also do not understand why any road which leads somewhere must be in ownership of the target...
Besides it the road starts from city and goes to the parking...

If you do not see the reason of owning the houses - do not buy it... Otherwise can be a situation when people who like to roleplay inside the buildings cannot own any just because buildings have their limits... And those buildings which are owned are not used in roleplay just cos owners do not see the point of it...

As about problems with owning roads... There will start be many problems... And the first is - the reason to attack, which leads usually to moaning from all sides, deathmatch, etc... After that CM will announce the whole hill as their own...

Once again - the roads cannot be owned... it's simply as it is in life...
