1. It doesn't take long before they have escaped, the police don't stand much of a chance unless they team up...which you may notice is hard

2. Criminals mostly are in faster vehicles such as sports cars, plus they ride bikes...it's generally hard to take out suspects

3. You CAN use helicopters to escape - take off, fly to a remote area which is still in map boundaries, get out, wait for the timer to end...and when you see police come, get back inside and fly off quickly

4. If you decide not to surrender, the police have to spend all of their time trying to catch you...and you get fined for them doing a great job


A lot of people need to sit down and list the advantages and disadvantages of being a cop and a criminal - it's almost equal

There are some things which will always be seen as unfair such as the police having free desert eagles, a radio to contact all police units and superior numbers - that can't change

A system where the police have to buy all of their weapons, have no method of communicating and have a maximum number of police that can be on duty at one time is out of the question

Not to mention that you have the ability to use a M4 to kill cops whereas the SAPD has a regulation against that...
Besides, not many free officers/cadets have armour and heavy weapons.

Correct, those who are suspected can carjack cops if the cop is silly enough to be in a civilian vehicle.

The ARPD is an organised force, whereas criminals are random people who want a thrill.

This is the kind of totally cop diluted view I love .
Believe me, I see both sides, and criminals are more organised than the ARPD.

To be a criminal for real you have to be in a criminal group. Otherwise, you're just a small time robber, thief, or mugger.

There ARE people here who prefer to be online and ingame than be out doing stuff IRL. This mostly occurs in the younger members (12, 13), who are not far enough into their teenhood to have a proper social life.
When I was 12 and on this server i'd have rathered sit in game than be outside doing stuff, but now i'd rather be going to the movies, skating, etc etc. It all depends on the individual IMO.

Noticed that too, see people on my days off work i've seen people ingame from 7am till 4pm, it's summer you should be out with your Mates or getting a Summer Job and make some cash.

True that. I grew up but I still ain't got jack shit to do, lol.
I have not the same interests as most of my friends. Playing soccer is never an option for me.
I'd rather sit at home taking it easy listening to music than being on the soccer field listening to their bullshit gossips or whatever. I don't have any hobbies either so I'm rather fucked. I still don't like computers, though. If it weren't for my forever lasting search for music, I would not be here.
