Tbh, I can't see why Sam did get denied. He's a really good role-player, been with me in Eastwood etcetera.
He did also contribute with exceptional role-play skills whenever he was around.

Later on, Damon's father was having problems with the mafia, somehow a witness went to court to witness against the mafia, Few mafia members left town, but the father was jailed with the rest of his members for life in mordor prison. Before he was jailed, he teached Damon everything he must know to join a mafia, encouraging him to do so, and he asked him to kill  the witness, for the honour of the mafia, and he accepted. As all the money was given to the son, he bought a weapon and killed the witness. Now he must earn respect and join a mafia, and become like his father. 13.
