My name is Tony Montana i was born in 1976 i am an orphan but i was rised in a italian family, I used to live in Liberty city, where i did many jobs for the Mafia Leader Salvatore, the Mafia's allies were the Colombian Cartel, when Salvatore had a problem with the Colombian Cartel i took care of them, the violence and the rage between the Mafia and Colombian Cartel got so out of control that Salvatore ask me to leave the city wasnt safe for me to stay there anymore, the Colombian Cartel were looking for me, Salvatore was very nice to me give me $100k, and told me to takecare of myself. On the way to airport my ex-girl friend Catalina called me asking for a last favour, i couldn't refuse she wanted me to help her to take part in armed bank robbery, well i thought the money would be useful for starting a new life somewhere so we robbed the bank of Liberty City we had stole over $600,000, in cash as I ran to the gateaway car which was around the corner i didnt know what had fate planned for me Catalina had set me up and shot me and fled the scene with her accomplice, leaving me to die in an alley; I survived but I had been arrested and subsequently found guilty and sentenced to jail. While i was being transferred, someone attacked on the police convoy aimed at kidnapping an unrelated prisoner which had set me free. and i fled the scene and planned to go to somewhere by sea as i reached the docks there was shoot out between drug dealers, as i saw the shooting they had all killed eachother and amoung them was Catalina, i wanted to say to her Good Bye personally, she had been killed in a drug deal that went wrong, there were bodies left and right, the money and the drugs where still there, i could hear the cops coming, so i boarded the ship, with the cash and drugs on me way to San Andreas... 13. My character grew up in cuba in the time it was at its worst.....violence,corruption and the war with america.At a young age he witnissed his father get brutally murdered and two years later got taken away from his mum as it was too dangerous to stay in cuba any longer.When coming to los santos he tried his best to arrange some money to send his mother to live with him in los santos.....but with no qualifications he found this hard and soon found the shady criminal underworld of argonath....he had no choice ,either he got involved or he would hardly ever stand a chance to see his mother again.

I have watched the Godfather but in the game corleone is a well know name and family....i heard of the mafia the first day i joined by a friend who wanted to join you.
