Got the same problem, fan is fucking sounding as if it is a jet engine.. bought a new motherboard, fan and case and still not fixed :conf:

Dude I kept the stock heatsink for exactly 2 days.. that was giving shit temps. Now I have a Dell 8400 Pentium 4 heatsink sticking out the bottom of my laptop and it cools really well but when the CPU hits 100% it gets so hot it burns the top of my desk :/

The bearings in the fan are more than likely gone, figure out which fan is making the noise and think of replacing it.

And that is why I buy a real computer, not a laptop to play games.  ;)
