There is a topic in the unban requests which shows that I have been warned for 'cbug'. I thought I'd clear up any confusion that may have arisen upon reading Eric's unban request.

In this picture you can clearly see the neutrality between an SRU member and a Corleone Mafia member about the c-bug usage,

Correct, I was warned about my usage whilst others involved in the opposing side were not. After this warning, I did not use the cbug as I was UNAWARE that it was against the rules before this. Despite many people witnessing the warn, I saw a heck of a lot of people using it infront of admins and nothing was done about it when I reported. I won't mention any names, although it's pretty blatant who.

Eliteterm decided to respond to two of my reports (tnx man) and he was unsure whether or not it was allowed or not. He told me to contact Gandalf and ask him to clarify in private. In haste, I had pmed 'Ontole' just after my warn, assuming it was Gandalf but got no response (understandably).

I was speaking to Wash on msn regarding the situation and he took it upon himself to create the topic 'cbug-wtf?'. The rules were then cleared up by Gandalf himself who said it was classed as 'Glitch abuse' before my reply on that topic. Ironically, the picture used in Eric's unban request showing my warn, is from my post in that topic. The intention of that topic was also to raise awareness. I think it served its purpose well as Eric was able to demonstrate my warn in his unban request.

The 'witchhunting' seen in another unban request also has an explanation. However, I will leave that to Wash to explain.

That's my point, you got warned about it was ilegal, so you could stop as you did.
Tho I recived a straight ban, I knew it was ban-able at paruni and you are my witness that I stoped doing it at paruni, tho I didn't know it was ban-able in Argonath, but yet I recived a straight ban.
And still I'm pretty sure I didn't.. So I'm still waiting that video, Daniel/Wash.

Gandalf has told me that abusing cbug is bannable - this consult should not have even been needed. It should be clear enough that when you use such bug, you are abusing a bug/glitch. It is clearly stated in the rules that it is not allowed and even bannable.

I wonder? If it's bannable on a DM server, common sense suggests that it probably would NOT be allowed on it's sister server, an RPG one, now would it? Stop trying to make up lame excuses.. Admit what you have done and everybody could get it over with. This is not only about you rulebreaking, but about you rulebreaking to gain an advantage over other players, being a cop those other players are criminals, and as criminals you have too many advantages over us anyway. Cut the bull, grow up and take responsibility of your actions.

I'm curious - is the scroll tactic allowed? I've been told that C bug abuse is bannable but I've heard nothing of scroll.
