I dont think is fair to loose all the money. Was very very very hard to me to make my money to buy a bussines after  3 months. Its not easy to make more than 1 million and after all the sacrifice i did i will loose all in one second.? playing a lot of hours to make money for nothing?  this sound"s very frustrating to me :hit:.

I hope we can keep the money because its very unfair to some players that make a big sacrifice of working to make his money.  :hit: New players join everyday. In real life people dont loose their money.
I saved all to make this money.
1) usually never buying weapons from anmu nation.
2) dont buying armor in anmu nation.
3) Never moding cars  with nitro,paint ect..
4) Never expending the money in taxis, limo ect.
5) Dont deathmatching.
6) playing  7- 12 hours every day. (usually)

If i loose my money is same that killing all my life in this server.And all the hard work and hours!!!!!!in this server working for my money and making sacrifices to save more and not expending in all like other people.

What about all the hours regulars played and suported the server? Its not fair to loose all. New players found this idea great!Because they dint maked that sacrifice. But this is a direct hit in the heart of old players.

After know this im loosing the motivation to play in this server...

I agree with both sides... I think it is rather unfair to loose the money players have worked so hard (and abused so easily) to obtain...however I also agree that due to the abusers the money should be reset. Quite simply, it is a case of a few bad apples spoiling the whole pie...had we not had abusers, we would not be questioning whether or not to keep the money.

I strongly agree with Ron's point about it's not the money that matters, its the COMMUNITY. And yes, the money does play a part, but not enough of one to realistically matter.

If the money is reset though, I think all skin classes should be able to make money easily. Mole missions (while fruitful) success is determined by how many other players there are competing. As a civilian, if you don't go after mole, even WITH a business, its hard to make any 'real' money. As a cop, it is way to easy to isolate DMers and suspect them and moneyfarm them (of which I have had to freeze several regulars).

I don't know what kind of goodies 0.2 Argonath holds for us, but I propose this solution:

-Reset money (however have some kind of "reward" system, like tickets in an arcade)
-Ensure that All classes have equal oppurtunity income potential.

I believe Resetting the money will be a positive thing....because although I think it WILL be a mad rush when 0.2 hit, it will weed out the players that are not in the game to support the community...the players that play "for money, not for fun" will pack up and leave.

I do not post these views as a person with no cash, I have comming up on 500k (lot more by the time 0.2 hits), but I know that I can always earn money again, while it IS frustrating, to have earned and lost, such is life.

Shit happens.

Either way the pendelum swings, I will stand behind the Argonath Administration 100%.

Just a thought.

I think that opinion of the regulars players need to be reconsidered about this...

Regulars suported this server playing a lot....  I want a fair solution to this.

Only people that will suport  this are the new players!

I think the point they're trying to make is the fact that people abused stuff like MOLE missions to get money, and so we all have to suffer the consequinces of that select few.

You simply cannot cut off the rewards from a past of playtime. If older players have more money.. so be it, they earnt it.

As a localised example, TrojanTM, Jay and I have been making money on SA:MP.
Jay has a house.
Trojan has a bike.
I have a lot of money - wanna buy a house but the markets closed.

Reset all of this, what was the point of me making my money? I have had nothing come of it and resetting it will have been an utmost waste of my time. When I play Argonath I choose one of several options, the first being least stressful. -

:: Roleplay, usually Triad or ANG. Lose a little money (respawning, self-defence).
:: Do my bus route - earn very little money, if any.
:: Play as Cops - earn some money.

I do not want to be spited for choosing the most stressful options to make those few more $ to buy something nice and have my possibly upcoming reward snatched away from me.


We have two sides of the coin here - the ones who don't want it reset; and the ones who agree with the administration. I'm pretty sure the latter would be pretty happy with either course of action, the former will not be.

Please, don't reset the money. I assure you the effort put in to transfer it over WILL be worth it.

But is not a excuse to reset all people money!!!! Money made with sacrifice and with hard work!!!! Playing a lot... I mean a lot of hours just working to make money.(7- 12 hours a day) i did that...

Like i can see people that dont know how to admin their money dont care about money reseting. All the people that Dm or spend in cars, weapons, ect.
 
But you think is really fair to reset the money of the player that sacrifice to be there??? All that time spend in the server dont count? All that job that lot of hours that i spend in this server for nothing. I did that because i thinked in the results of this. And did that sacrifice of time and work to be more relax later.

If people learn how to admin their cash they will have results. But im not going to play 3 months again.... for that... That is crazy.... I did that work to have results and now i will loose all???? I did that to have a place for my mafia to start bussines. With this bussines we can RP better and workers and members earn money. But!!!!

Now i  will say. Learn to administrate your money if you are new or you dont know how to save cash is not my problem i dont care. I take care of my problems. Because some people DM, spend in guns mod cars or dont have bank account. And they cant save.

 I never abuse look at me I only have 400k from the start because I am not a constant cop like some people, cops need to be looked at. In other servers people would love to be a cop for the fun of catching suspects and bringing them into jail, here they just kill for the money. Well if the money is going to be reseted then oh well people have time to learn how to RP and not be Dmer cops.
