TBH, everybody may aswel stop arguing and protesting to keep their money. (I want to keep mine but I'm fed up of this topic....)
If it has to be done because of new scripts etc.. which will make the server better, then who cares. And please no "yea but i worked soooo hard for my money" after this post because quite frankly, I couldnt give a toss. I aint gonna read another post on this topic because I really CBA!

Old, and active players can keep SOME of their money (70%?), if they send an request (I request my hotring now ). And inactive players lose their money.

And payday - Have I got this right?
You mean evryplayers get eg. 10k a week?

To me payday means - you can come to the ch and get all the money you have earnd as being cop (or something else).
If you haben't earnd enything - you get nothing.

But still, payday is a bad idea

El_Boricua and others who want to keep money, give us an idea on how to keep money but avoid inflation. We are working on a more even system, and we do not want prices to go further beyond reality than they are now.
If you can get a good idea, we will reconsider.

OK. Many people will be afected by reseting the money, they will feel very frustrated and and disgusted with this. because they have worked for the money. I think that if the money is reseted we will a a very slow economy in argonath.From where people will have an income? paydays? i know u dont want that. All people will start with minimiun money and their objectve will be  to get all money back.That means people will not pay for services because they want to save. Economy is not going to work then. people will save, they are not going to use services, and the people that will try to provide this services are not going to earn money. But if you keep money the people that have money can spend in services, the bussines will employ workers and they will earn money. Then the economy can move. You can change the system but keep money of the people so economy can keep moving. Or we will have a recesion all people will only save and they are not going to pay for services. And all people will try to play as cops to get the money back and they will abuse of comands. I think there is another point. I think cop earnings need to be changed. Example: only people with passport can play as cops. Because some people just join the server get cop skin and start atacking all people. I think we must prevent that. To get passport they must know the rules and they will get experience in the server. Other thing is the the jailing suspect. I dont see a point in surrender. The system must be changed. If you get killed by a cop you loose 500 and if you get jailed by a cop you loose 500. So there is no point in surrender. Example: a suspect loose 300$ if they go to jail and he loose 500$ if he gets killed. They will see a diference and a lot of them will surrender. And give a bonus to cops when they jail a criminal. That will motivate more cops to make a better job in the server. And a lot of abuses can be stoped for once.

I would have to agree with this; people will be ticked off that the potential fruit of their work is being taken away from them - and of course as El_Boricua said nobody will pay for services such as taxi or bus because they will want to save.

If people lose all money, they will become desperate.
Desperate people are potentially dangerous people.
Desperate people will exploit anything they can to earn their money back. Reason? - "It's rightfully mine to take back because I had it before, then you took it."


As for Gandalf's (very valid) point about inflation - perhaps introduce extra costs to sap some of the existing $ from the system.

:: Maybe charge for the Mobile Phone service more (I know it does right now, but not to any real, sizeable amount).

:: Being able to hire a premesis for an event; but with an automatic script system that charges a small amount (say for example $1k-$2k) to rent to venue for period of time. The money is a server Currency Sink.

:: Rent-a-car. The car dealers and other places could have rent-only cars owned by the server as such and that can be rented out which might provide extra permissions (the extra permissions one would have when owning the car) which is up to whatever the Dev team make for the car ownership system.
~The extra scripting could be worth it, as there is another idea for a possible player owned business (with server set prices on whichever cars they place in their business).

There are lots of possible Currency Sinks that could be introduced to tackle inflation - it can be done, and along the way new features would be added to make the game experience even better, such as the Rent-a-car.

Such drastic measures need not be introduced on the money, as I've said before any extra work put in, will surely be worth it.  D)

I agree with where you're coming from, but the key there is the RPG.
This is still a Game, and games are supposed to be fun. Some who RP enjoy seeing a monetary or even simply a numerical reward for some of their actions. If that reward is stricken, then maybe they will become disheartened.

And also, in the situation all money is taken, nobody will have any money. Everyone will be abusing/exploiting (along with legitimately) making money. But the bottom line is those making money will not be doing the pure roleplay that comes with monetary satisfaction.

"I have 100k, so whats 1k spent on a RP session?"

will become

"I only have 20k now. I don't want to spend this money on RP."

And please don't come back with "Oh, but we can RP the money.". There IS a limit to RP.

So this 3 months developers cannot even concider as completted scripts for playing...

So think about admins point of view... Not only about your money...

I agree with you, this cash, was made with scripts(That were being tested), and so much players abused of them, as they didn't have protection against abuse.

The players that maked teh cash abusing scripts  need to be pusnihed.! but the fair players that worked for their no.)))  But the point of view of the regulars need to be considered. NO i cant believe! and now i received menaces of be banned for protesting.

I am angry because was hard to make the money. When i protest i just hear people saying that they dont care because they dont have  money!!!  There is no point on this.  

Im not going to pay for other people actions!

Admins i exposed my point about the economy. What about that?



I think Chainsaw is not an admin, so stop your menaces about banning but is an abusive cops in our protests. Just look the screnshots.

Ok but 1 thing is real dumb. Sometime ago u guys said that put money to bank and it will be saved to 0.2 But now u guys said that we lose everything. I dont understand whats going on :conf:
