I heard key binds are bannable.
Is this true?
If so, how can they get you banned?

I myself, know key bind setups just to do a simple thing like for eg, press 2 and it automatically goes /me pickpockets the nearest person.
Just curious as i heard this from an unmentionable friend  :poke:

More so you are just role playing with a little extra pace.

Correct, keybinds are an advantage over other players.

Example 1: keybind of 'surrender now' for a cop. Press 1 button and shoot to kill 'I asked to surrender'.
example 1: keybind /gu for criminal. HP almost to 0 ? pres a key and tell 'the cops abused me, I surrendered'

If found, keybinds can get you banned.

Well, if a cop used a keybind to ask them to surrender, then they stopped, then the suspect got shot down, thats cop abuse isnt it? there would be a different punishment.
If a suspect was injured, /gu and then used a keybind to do tell everyone their being abused, surely it would be investigated by the admins, and if the cop wanted log proof, wouldnt he take it here in the forums?

I'm not trying to get the rules changed or argue or anything, these are just my views.
Because if a player typed it out, its pretty much the same, only you entered it quicker with keybinds.

That is exactly the point. Using keybinds you can do the same thing quicker as a player who does not use them. There for it is an unfair advantage.

what if the keybinds are for say. AV Driving school.

Hit F12 and '/l The speed limits in main roads are a Maximum of 90Kmph'

The ability to use keybinds would help me so much. In announcing my events, i need to copy paste the /ad line every time...plus this would put my G15 to use! Lol

since the command is that short, you can do that regardless.

wait, keybinds are when we type something and then if we wanna past it, instad of new writing we press like arrow up and then we see it, or what?
