I know a few bisexuals. One of them conviniently decided to announce their sexuality on Facebook (I mean, just why?). He's a top guy though. He gets the occasional stick for it but it doesn't bother me - or him for that matter - at all.

As opposed to Bisexuality which is the sexual attraction to just males and females.. Pansexuality is the sexual attraction to males, females, transexuals etc

There's a very fine line between Bisexuality and Pansexality and in my personal opinion, I think people who call themselves 'Pansexual' usual do it just to be 'different'... that, or they are just completely 'gender blind' and are sexually attracted to all forms of sexuality. But well.. there we go. haha

I don't mean this in an offending way to anyone at all, but that statement actually made me believe that many pansexuals are likely mostly people who have fallen into the sexual spin that media has output into society, which would explain why they are attracted to all forms of it. Obviously there can be people who are open to all ideas, so I'm not saying this is everyone, but just like many lesbians today in modern society, thanks to media many people claim to be something they're not just to stand out, or because they think it's "sexy". Again, not saying anyone who is pansexual is someone who has fallen pray to sexual media or that many or all of them have...it's just a random thought I figured I'd throw out there to add to what Miami said just to think about.

I have yet to run across anyone like that either, so it's probably one of the much smaller groups in the world's various sexual preferences being that it's so uncommon among people. I have yet to run across someone who was a-sexual either, although that one surprises me a bit given that it's human nature to have sexual desires, and with how strongly media in this world pushes sex on people, you'd assume at some point they'd give in after being pressured by it so much. I have to admit, I'm actually impressed that he could resist it. It shows he's not lying about it for any obvious reasons that I can see, but that is quite an interesting sexual preference in my opinion. Thinking about how one can ignore the world's desires and still feel no sexual attractions at all is a bit hard to imagine myself, but if it's sexual preference, then I think it's pretty awesome that he isn't afraid to admit it.
