Lol so is mine what the f**k does that mean?

Well, supposedly (read: perhaps/maybe/apparently) having a ring finger longer than index finger means that you are more likely to be not straight. Its to do with testosterone, although the effect on the fingers is more pronounced when looking at female homosexuality than male.

That said, it isn't a 100% thing. Don't take the length of your fingers as proof or anything :P.

On another string of though..
More older brothers leads to increased chance of homosexuality/bisexuality. Can anyone make any observations about that? :o

I've heard about that too because the oestrogen level increases or something if you keep having sons. I'm a middle brother (3 brothers in the family, no sisters) and I don't know what my younger brother is, though I assume he's straight, but the theory seems pretty reasonable.

Its the other way round, if your ring finger is longer, then it means your more likely to be gay/bi. Isnt it?
According to quick googling, men tend to have longer ring finger and opposite for women. So, as a guy I think "the gay" would be to have a longer index finger, according to this test (and quick googling).

EDIT: No, actually after more googling if your ring finger is the same size as your index finger, then that's supposedly more gay.

Ive also heard about that brothers thing.
Aparently supposed to do with the fact that as each boy is given birth, they are born with less testostrone.

I dont think it nessicarily means that the youngest boy is gay/bi.
Just means, that he has a higher chance, or will be a little more effemenate, or most likely.. no signs of anything.

I do know someone who has 4 (yes FOUR :O) older brothers, and hes quite effeminate.
But I dont think hes gay, or atleast, he hasnt said anything about being gay or whatever  :lol:

lol, the irony  :trust:
I actually misread his post, not realising he was saying what I was also thinking (thought he said 'Most likely to be straight' not 'Most likely to be not straight').

But now you say that was I said could be true  :rofl:
I ended up deleting my post cos I realised I misread, but looks like you saw it before I deleted  :razz:

Gay people like to show that they are gay, like it's some new designer clothing ..
I wouldn't say that this is necessarily true in a lot of places in real life, but I think it is true of these forums.  I sympathise with the gay community and I abhor anyone that would try and treat anyone like second class citizens but when I think about people on this forum the word 'Flaunting' comes to mind.

I think it is because a lot of people are anonymous in a certain way on the internet so it gives them more confidence to voice their opinions whilst not conflicting with their daily lives and in-turn it leads to a bit of overkill on the forums - Maybe they have the right to flaunt because of all the mistreatment against them, but maybe not as certain people on this forum feel threatened and feel like you're forcing your ideologies, arguments and topics on them when they just want to play a game, that's my opinion anyway.

Also, I just read this thread and there are some funny contradictions (If that is the appropriate word, not sure). E.g People get annoyed when Nexxt was writing <3 to David all the time, yet [Rstar]Peter basically had the same romantic infatuation with [AV]Claire and told anyone that would listen that she was his wife ingame, and also I think he wrote it in his signature somewhere, I see nowhere near the volume of complaints and negative comments against him. ( No offence Petey + Claire. )

I am not a gay-lover, I am not a straight lover - I strongly believe that if someone is in a relationship they should just get on with it, not talk, flaunt or moan about sexuality all the time, unless they are behind some underlying movement to revoke a discriminative law or something. Some reason why they are doing it. If this thread has been made for some important reason like maybe to show that gay are people too, then that it is great and I wholly support it, but if it is to flaunt and jeer at people who do not agree with them, then I am not.

Our revenge will be the laughter of our children

I know exactly what you mean, and yeah I absolutely agree with you with the Clare + Petey thing. People dont seem to worry about that at all, then boom you have names of the same gender.. KABOOM, controvesy.  :rofl:

Ohwell, for me I have a reason for my signature. I love him dearly ingame, but even more so in real life  :razz:

For others, their relationship is just ingame, but for the other few its like me. You just love someone so much, you wanna shout it from the roof tops. Know that feeling?  :lol:

Awesome post Niall. The whole Petey/Claire thing actually came to mind before, but I couldn't really think of a good way to put it and what you brought up about the flaunting and oppression is very enlightening. I didn't even think about that, but it makes more sense now.

Anyways, I feel this way;

Gay or straight / white or black / short or tall / thick or thin - I quote 2Pac on this -> "I don't give a f**k."

Interesting stories with explanations:

I lost my virginity to a girl (Don't ask how old I was, you'd be outraged), then as I got older I started going for men. I have ALWAYS (Since I was 7) known I was gay. Now I will point this out - I am not Bisexual, although I did it with a girl because I don't like women. I just wanted to say If you are 'bisexual' and you like men but not women but go with them, you are gay, not bi. (That may help someone).

About Stereotypes: These are the worst. I have been asked many things (by the lovely Birmingham youth - joys) about my sexuality, because I wore a rainbow ribbon and one of them knew what it was. One of the more common is I will immediatly 'fancy' every man I see - Wrong. The other I can't fight and I am scared of a lot of stuff - again - WRONG. I can fight quite well actually (did boxing for 4 years [to see other men topless]  - Ended up having a thing with one of them when I was 15 (won't elaborate)). So, if you know someone is gay, do not judge them or stereo type them. A)Because they may Kill you, B)It's illegal - In the UK you run the risk of around 10 years in prison*.

Very good post Mike, and I totally agree with you and stereotypes.
I have had ENOUGH of the stereotypes of gay people, want a classic example of a stereotypical gay person? Watch the Family Guy episode 'Family Gay'.. now im not bashing FG, cos I know they just like to joke around and poke at society.

Peter becomes the biggest hugest stereotypical gay ever, lol. I just wanna say, its just stupid that people think that most of us are like that. Absolutely stupid...  :razz:

The majority of us act like the average person. We look the same, speak the same, wear the same clothes.. (unless some of you go for 'that look'  :razz:).

Want to know why some gay people act like the stereotype? Because its the easiest way of identification.
Ide prefer wearing a rainbow ribbon or bracelet thankyou very much  :lol:
