Why? These people are mentally female, its not their fault, just like being born with your sexual orientation, these people are born with a gender identity except it doesn't match their physical body.

No offense but I just find transgender plain wrong, like you're dissing God or something. I kinda get the homosexual urges but to change your gender? Geesh. Well, at least if you go far enough to have a penoplasty/vaginoplasty.

If that's the way that people in your religion think, then I would say that your religion is plain wrong, just like most religions are plain wrong as they only lead to more division and more hate. I cannot comprehend a "god" that would decide it'd be funny to create create a woman in a man's body then telling him that he'll burn in hell if they tries to change. That's one deranged sense of humour.

I don't mind religions like Buddhism, because they actually preach about peace and harmony for everyone and not just for those who meet some kind of requirements. Even if the religion is entirely wrong (for argument sake, I'm not implying anything), at least the religion preaches good morals as opposed to the kind of hate that I see in many of the other mainstream religions and if people want to becomes monks and such and dedicate their life to a non-existant god, well I don't mind at all. It's their life and as long as they're preaching peace and harmony and don't force their religion onto others, it's fine by me.

There are many religions.  Which one is actually real and what gives other people the right to say that theirs is real?  That's my stand point on religion.  Even though I am Agnostic, I do occasionally get signs from something to not do something, maybe paranormal, or natural selection favoring my way.
