That's taking the term very literally. You don't necessarily have to be scared of homosexuals to be a homophobe. People who have a hate against them and especially those in association with homosexual discrimination are still homophobes and you fall under this category, so yes, you are a homophobe.

Yeah D:.@Italic: Cofi, I understand where you're coming from by saying that there would be a "border" drawn between gays and heterosexuals, and there is one whether they have their parades or not. @Bold: Cofi, as I said before, whether there are parades or not, people will always have a problem with homosexuals. And think of this, they're called "Gay Pride" parades for a reason, if whatever country you're from just won a war, or had a peaceful outcome to a conflict, they're more likely going to have a Pride Parade to celebrate the Pride they have for their nation, same thing for homosexuals.
And if you don't want your offspring to be exposed to that, keep them in the dark so they become god-fearing, homo-hating repressed rejects of society.

I understand that you didnt understand anything i said. Read my reply again, and you will see there is no  gay hating sentence or any, more then a logical sugestion to put the diferences as low as posible, and that one of the glitch to make sexuality equeal are "happenings"  like that, Parade was only a example. Since i dont hate any group of people, or do i generalised people just cause they are part of some other culture, oriantation, nation etc etc.

I also know  that there will allways be people who hates GBLT persons, but that doesnt mean, you/we shoudnt do anything to ATLEAST lower the amount of people or hate toward Gays. To do that, you need to make compromising moves, from both side homo-phobic and homosexual. Trying to do so, Parades become more then useless, and not gonna help lower the diference betven hetero-sexual and homo-sexual people.

Lots of my friends are homo-phobic, cause of the tradition or religic reasons, but belive me, they are not bother by people who are gay and live next door, they are bother by Gay parades and Big Media seeking by GBLT groups.

Also i didnt understand your part "from where you coming", or the necesary to take my country as a example of war land.
