Actually a transexual is someone who has had surgery of some sort I believe. Transgender is used for people that have not underwent the transformation.

Yup agree with Hiricne, look at the words, like separate them, Tran SEXUAL AND Trans Gender .. I believe that ''Sexual'' means is that you changed a body part, like Surgery, and Gender, its like simple, I just wanna transfer my gender

Anyways, as some of you know - I started my new college recently. The equality there is brilliant! Everyone is treated the same, and everyone is friendly towards each other.

There are many homosexual and bisexual people in my college, and they arn't afraid of admitting it or.. 'looking it' cos everyone is fine with it. Heck, there is even a transexual in the year below :P

So my question to all is this;
What is your school/college/university like when it comes to LGBT people? Are there openly Gay and Bi people in your school/college/university? If so, are there many? Do people get along with them and treat them like normal or do they get outcasted?

in my country gays ,bisexuals and those kind of people are outcasted mostly or get beaten everyday

my country is still very conservative and does not support those people and their marriage

hell i have a neighbourg that is lesbian ( its a chick ) and they throw rocks in her window and laugh   i sometimes go pick up her grocery because she's affraid to step out

jesus i have skinheads in my neighbourhood even tho i hang out with metal heads and punkers ( but i don't harass and thrash )

and no if the are they won't admit it
