Anyways, as some of you know - I started my new college recently. The equality there is brilliant! Everyone is treated the same, and everyone is friendly towards each other.

There are many homosexual and bisexual people in my college, and they arn't afraid of admitting it or.. 'looking it' cos everyone is fine with it. Heck, there is even a transexual in the year below :P

So my question to all is this;
What is your school/college/university like when it comes to LGBT people? Are there openly Gay and Bi people in your school/college/university? If so, are there many? Do people get along with them and treat them like normal or do they get outcasted?

Nop, nobody I know is gay, and if there was we'd probably beat him up..

We have the rock-to-head policy for gays here.
Gays aren't really accepted where I'm from.
Hell, I've even been a part of a gay beating event. We rounded up a bunch of gay people (stole a guy's MSN, IMd the gays to meet in a playground) and beat them up.

People don't care about lesbians and bis are somewhat accepted.
Trannies get killed and the authorities don't really give a f*ck.

There's an openly lesbian girl in my class and only other girls pick on her etc.

OKAY I'm going to just GUESS and go with:
Because people think that gays are different and they are afraid of it. As common with the race homo sapiens, people hate everything that's different and try to change it in their own way (which in this case is putting hands on the said party).
Besides, most gay people I know look like real faigggotsss and that just makes me angry. Personal emotions n' shii'

Now I am going to say, I think its more accepted in some places cos everyone has learned to deal with it and live with it.
Ofcourse, many people are still immature and think that they are wrong etc. But if people are, or want to be mature.. imo they should learn to live with it.

Its becoming more and more of an accepted thing nowadays in more and more countries, but some areas still seem to be lagging behind!
