What is the point in homophobia?
And I am speaking towards the people that just generally hate gay people, not necessarily scared of them.

We are living in a world which is evolving. There is definatly much less homophobia than there was before, and this is definatly a good thing. But I really don't see why many people stil feel the need to be hateful towards gays.
The only reason I see is that they have been brainwashed by their parents/friends/religion to think its a 'bad' and 'wrong' thing.

Were not hateful, were just not used to seeing or can't see a couple of the same gender, it's like me thinking a bicycle is better then a Ferrari, can never happen! That was just for example... I also have bad experiences with gays, I hope you can understand, just something that happen over time...

So? Well.. So I just said Ok.

People tend to use fag as an insult, so it could be taken the wrong way, unless you're talking to your friend or something. As for homo, I don't really think it's a bad term as such, but gay would be the most appropriate.
