International Racing League(IRL) Season Two: Rule Dissussion

Welcome to the International Racing League. This is the Second Season of the Racing Championship that will test the driving skills of all racers to help us see who is the best of them all...

As for the last Season there will be 6 rounds but this time will include 2 endurance races which will be longer then the normal rounds. As of this season there will be 20 racers.

RULES:

Participants can only use 1 type of car for all races!!!
If you want to drive an Comet you will drive the Comet on all tracks. You will have some disadvantages on some tracks but will be better on others.

Maximum 3 drivers per team
It means what it says.

NO RAMMING
Like all "real races" this is an non-contact sport.
If any of the drivers is caught deliberately ramming the stewards can give a penalty.
There will be no ramming at ALL if you do ram u will get a time Penalty's where u have to move in to the pits and serve your time penalty.

PASSING
When passing you need to make sure you have room if not wait other wise people with lag will ram the other racers which is not allowed.
So when you are passing others, make sure there is a lot of room between you and the passed guy, before you move your car in front of him. other wise there will be ramming WHICH IS NOT ALLOWED.

Maximum 20 racers per race


Replacement drivers
If a driver is not available for the race the team leader can ask another driver to replace this driver. He will take over the starting position, however earns his on points and money. ALL replacements must be done in the Teams topic 2 hours before the race start. NO replacements will be taken ingame AT ALL.

Car Modifications:
All modifications are aloud, including nitro, its your choice what what mods you want you car to have, just remember the IRL will not play back any replacement money for lost cars during the event.

Cars Aloud:
Owners have preference of using their car if it is being used by someone else!

ZR-350
Comet
Jester
Euros
Phoenix
Sultan
(if you want a car that is not on this list ask me and i will decide if you can use it or not)

One Car Per Race:
i know some of you last season did NOT finish in the car they started in, if you do this now you will be KICKED from the championship.

Any Questions about the rules are to be pmed to me.

Penalty:
alright, i think the pitstops penalty didn't work last season, so when an Offical sees a breach of the rules, corner cutting, ramming ext, the racer that does it will be moved down one place on the final round results.

For each race:
 1st place  - 30 points - $30,000
 2nd place - 28 points - $28,000
 3rd place - 25 points - $25,000
 4th place - 22 points - $22,000
 5th place - 20 points - $20,000
 6th place - 15 points - $15,000
 7th place - 13 points - $13,000
 8th place - 10 points - $10,000
 9th place - 5  points - $ 5,000
10th place - 3 points -  $ 3,000
11th place - 2 points -  $ 2,000
All other places :  1 points - $500

Championship (Drivers with the most points after 6 Rounds)
1st place - $150,000
2nd place - $125,000
3rd place - $100,000
4th place - $ 75,000
5th place - $ 50,000
6th place - $ 40,000
7th place - $ 30,000
8th place - $ 25,000
9th place - $ 20,000
10th place - $ 15,000
11th place - $ 10,000
12th place - $  9,000
13th place - $  8,000
14th place - $  7,000
15th place - $  6,000

Since RS4 is out and some other new cars, why not ad a couple more additional cars such as: euros,phoenix,sultan ?

Question: What if someone is rammed on accident and is in first or something. and then is caused to go to like 15th due to the ram, does the rammer get penalty still or something?

Also: What if someone purposely rams but is not caught, but there is proof of the player reporting this rammer's car is like 68, does the reported rammer getr punished?

even The infernus can loose a race... its about tracks and Handling also the Driver's Skills though... i dont see no point adding all kind of cars but the infernus! it should have been the first car added... and all is yours

Yeah but then the race will be filled with infernus', and the slower cars (Phoenix and Sultan etc) Will stand no chance.

Y2JFaN, if an offial sees the ram, the person that rams will be move down a place in the official results. read the last rule.

if i was to allow the "supercars" then everyone would be using them. i find that the racing is a lot better when their not used..

on another note.. the race has a new day and time, FIRDAYS at the time of 14:00 CET. this is the ONLY time and day i can do it. sorry if that doesnt work for somepeople

lol, If he does that, it will be complete chaos.. Infact, 20 is pretty high as it is. If anything, it should be lowered. If it were to go up, 25 or 30, 35 at max. Anything higher is just...  :m4:  :help: :help:  :flame: :flame: :m4:  :sig: :sig:  :trust: and then the event will need closed due to all the fights,
