APB failed because it refused to listen to the people who beta tested it even though they took people who had VCMP and SAMP backgrounds and rumored dev's from other RP server and GodfatherRP were apart of the beta, despite the fact that half the DEV who made APB team was behind GTA SA, and SAMP. It's sad but the missions in game were really fail and if anything the game would have turned into a Argo like MMO however for only being live 3 months before close it currently has the World Record for "Shortest Live MMO" Yeah its nice to have a fully customized skin but I mean the entire game was a 100% rip off of SAMP and VCMP if the game was still going i would think SAMP and VCMP and even IVMP would have died slowly like another MMO i play because the DEV team BARLEY listens to the players and Maximizes profits!

GamersFirst bought APB and it will be free (no subscriptions anymore, yay!) but instead they've introduced 'micro payments' and the release is planned in the spring of 2011.

If they make it to pay to upgrade weapons, clothes or vehicles they'll just fuck it up.

I'd like it to have it's own online registration system, so it wont be able to be pirated.. and have to buy the game fully once.. no more. (Like 40 euros once.. then free to play forever.)

Poor/ disgusting graphics, worst car handling than any driving game on PS1 even, weapons were all pretty much the same, all felt the same to shoot. Lots of customisation which was good, but got quite boring. Few cars to buy, all handled the same anyway. Damage and physics made driver for ps1 look like GTAIV.

All in all, if it was such a good game, company would not have gone bust.

Whilst I was playing, the match making system was fucked. I used to get put up against faggots with a rating of something like 290 when I had 100 myself.. Then when I request for back up some douche with R10 joins. The car handling was poor but I believed they patched it. Recoil was also added to the weapons.

One of the things I used to hate when I was playing the beta, is like you wash..

Game putting you against experienced players, when you were a new player.... and had no "good" guns.

APB was bought by K2 Networks, A company which owns a lot F2P MMOs (crappy ones.).. And it was being re-done (not from scratch but fixing errors.)

Game's renamed to APB: Reloaded.

So far; they have made some important progress adding a anti-cheat and fixing the boat-handling of the cars...

There's a closed beta launched, and currently Wave 1 is testers from US. It's too late to apply for beta, you'll have to wait for the open one, if you did not sign for the closed one.

Right now, I've asked for people who did apply and got keys.. like Squeak? (Or maxy, can't remember).. if they been accepted to beta yet or not.

PS: The Europe one (Wave 2) might start from March 19-23 within these days.
