No, just turn on your game again.
If it shows that error again, try reinstalling SAMP.
If it doesn't work then, reinstall San Andreas.

Make sure you have not changed or updated your SA to a higher version than 1.0
Do not double click on the start game in SA:MP.

I put SA and SA:MP on my laptop (Exactly the same as it is on my PC) And everytime I try to connect to a server in SA:MP... The game boots up and I see the chat window and the Vinewood Sign and everything for about 2 seconds then it crashes and refers back to my desktop. So annoying... I just gave up... I reinstalled SA and SA:MP but it still wouldn't work. I allways got the message that an exception occurred. It still won't work!

Off-Topic - I also have problems with my PSP when installing demos... Some demos work and some don't. It's like I've gone backwards in time with technology because nothing seems to work for me.

Do you have enough good laptop to handle San Andreas. Usually when computer isnt good enough, it shows "intro", but when more power is required, it crashes. So check req's
