This does not happen to me, this is not related to server about.
I have a super junk computer, P17G/1333 1GB memo, Onboard video card, P4 3.06
However, my computer does not overheats or freezes while playing argo.
Usually my processor is at load levels, temperature about, 50Cº, while idle he's arround 41Cº
Also my power supply has 200W, enough to deliver power to it.
My computer never froze while i was playing a game or doing something else, and i have it for arround, 5 months.
Please inform
system specs + power supplyThe problem is:
lack of power supply,
very hot computer,
overclocking issues,
software problems,
hardware problems.Check out if you have lastest drivers video card, if you don't,
upgrade it, if you do,
downgrade it (for test).
Also, if your computer is with a bad power supply, inform your system specs plus power supply.
overheat rarely happens, but, it can be a possibility too, some of processors shuts down at arround 70Cº for example, check out if your computer is
refrigerated correctlySee if
hardware is correctly installed in correctly position exactly told as in manual, if problem still carrys on, contact manufacturer of the product in order to fix the problem.
Overclock can be dangerous, but, there's always safe and very safe method to do it, but, if your computer overclock fails and resets, you'll have to go back to stock core. However, while you're testing it, computer can shut down and go back to stock core.
if your
Power supply fails to hold components, it's components will shut down and there is a chance of them getting damaged, aswell the power supply,
generic power supplys are the most probably to show such kind of problems, such as: let's supose you brought a generic power supply, such as Clone, it's
nominal power is 400W but
real power is just 200W
You should watch out before buying any power supply, make sure they are in real power, not in nominal power!
While playing the game would freeze, I can't do anything. To quit the game I have to ctrl+alt+dlt, and sometimes that doesn't even work, so I have to restart the computer..
This probably is happening due your Video card or processor is at full load, probably, he's too
hot or there is not enough
powerigxprd32.dll doesn't fucntion anymore, please restart your PC
The problem is in your power supply, it's not enough for your system specs.
try to see if the problem is at power supply or memory, first, we'll start with memory and also, try to remove mods in order to lower CPU usage.
Try the Memory TestExtract the zipped file to a location that you know, like the desktop or folder etc. You should end up with a folder named floppy
Go into the folder and double click on the install.bat
A command window will pop up asking you for a location of your disk drive. Insert a blank floppy disk into the floppy drive, then enter the letter of the drive (usually the letter a) then follow the prompts.
after it creates the floppy, simply boot your PC with the disk still in the drive and run the test as advised.
After you've set the test, grab some coffee and a magazine or go watch tv etc. It will take a while, arround 3-5 hours.
I'm starting to experience this more often than before... my game froze several times today.
Do the memory test, if not, check if your power supply is enough to your system specs.
