Depends on when you start to record, what you cut away while fixing the movie in a program(I use Movie Maker).
You can cut these seconds from when the message appears, till it is gone.
The HUD-mode shows your health and money and all, it can only disappear, along with everything else, by holding down the F10 key, but at the same time you use Camera Hack buttons, and pressing F9, and walking or whatever you do. It's quite a job. Everything except the HUD-mode you can disallow in the Options.
When he is typing, the box disappears when holding down the F10 key. I usually type something, let's say /hide, then make sure that he will do it as soon as I press ENTER, so I hold down the F10 button and starts recording.
