Same-group support should be allowed regardless of suspection or not.
The rule is in place to keep cops from being confused, as any civilian may just get into the shootout and say he was helping a friend.

However, when someone WITH THE SAME TAG is helping another person WITH THE SAME TAG, it's common sense.
If the cops can't realise that those people are not innocent bystanders but are in fact people of the same faction, they should not be a cop.
Hell they should not play video games at all, but instead go outside and make sure they get enough oxygen to their brain.
