Unfortunately you don't. You are not eligible for any benefits it is your duty as a salesman to find out who's who, the first thing you should have done was made sure they had the financial suitability to buy the house. If they didn't then you could've said no right then.

Since you only inquired afterward that he was banned you have no rights to do anything as it is your decision and your research that is needed.
