Should we give up ?

As you may have noticed, we are at the edge of giving up.

Over the last three years we have spend more than Eur 200 a month, 4-5 hours a day and many nights to build, defend and protect Argonath. It has taken a toll on our daily life, our families.

And in return we see a community that just takes, with very little people willing to give back.

If anyone think we are getting rich on ads, they hav brought us Eu 200 in three years.
If anyone thinks we get rich on donations, we have received Eur 150 in three years.
All other money is coming out of our pockets.

People who have no idea whatsoever on how it is to lead a community of people think they have the right to call us dictators and call anyone asskisser who tries to help things improve.

People think that they need more democracy and freedom... while they do not contribute anything. We try to give people a place to meet frends and be happy, in return we get all shit over us.

It is enough. Either the community starts supporting or we pull the plug.

If you hate the leaders... go away.
If you hate the server... go away.
If you want to keep Argonath, Aragorn and Gandalf, let it show.

It's like in real life "Racism" people hate black/white(Mostly black I guess, atleast in Sweden) people because they show a bad behavior, but well, there's still black people that are black that behaves good but they dont get as much attention.

Argonath rocks, I'm 16 and you have to be 18 in sweden to use credit card online. So I can not donate

i agree and understand some of these players are complete *$@7's, but its best to ignore them, and pay attention to the ones who truly appreciate the commitment you and Aragorn, and the rest of the admins gave towards Argonath.

on the other hand, its pretty amazing how far Argonath has made it, and how much time you make for the server.

 to abandon Argonath.. I dont think it should be done. and yes, attitudes need to change
