Barriers

As many of you know, one of the many cool features have returned to Argonath... barriers. Here's a little FAQ for some people who are unsure of their use and a limit.

NOTE any abusing any of the following features WILL result in a ban for script abusing, NO messing around.

Information

• You can place 10 barriers (0-9)
  
• You can only place barriers while having one of two construction worker skins (see above)
  
• You can only place barriers while inside a "Flatbed" or "Dozer"
  
• The Dozer spawns at a construction area near the Southwest of the LV map, the Flatbed at the Clown's Pocket construction sight.
  
• Barriers appear at the FRONT of the Dozer, from the BACK of the Flatbed
  
• To remove barriers use /pickupbarrier [id] (when you place a barrier it will tell you it's ID) note you MUST have either the very front (Dozer) up at the barrier or the very back (Flatbed) at the barrier to pick it up (/pickupbarrier)
  
• The Flatbed at times is stuck in the ground, contact an admin. (Admins: teleport to the player, if you see the truck in the ground teleport to ls [example] then back to the player, the ground should not load in time and the vehicle should appear normal on your screen, just synch it.)
  
• Barriers CAN NOT block a complete road without authorization, there MUST be at least a small opening for vehicles to pass through. Just put a person in the small area if you're doing an immigration check, construction work, etc.

  Q:What are the skins that you must use, and where can you buy them?
  
  A: One black and one white hardhat working, purchased at SubUrban
• 
  Q:How do you "abuse" barriers?
  
  A:For example setting them at places where someone cannot pass with a vehicle (examples: LSPD garage entrance, Flint Intersection bridge) without leaving a small opening, or for no reason.
• Q:What happens if I abuse the barriers?
  
  A:You will be promptly asked by an admin (or even player!) to remove them, if you fail to do so it will result in a ban, for script abuse.[/i]
  
  
  • Q: What happens if I feel like I'm being framed for someone else's placement of barriers?
    
    A: Just stay calm and talk to the admins, there's little patience for script abuse like this so try and make sure you say you did NOT do it if you didn't.
  • Q: What happens/can you drive around in the construction vehicles without the hardhat skin on?
    
    A: Yes, you can you just cannot use /barrier.

  Used to PLACE a barrier as mentioned above, must be almost stationary or it will not work
  /getbarrierid
  Move to center of barrier to gets its id (although you ARE told when placed too)
  /pickupbarrier [barrierid]
  Removes the barrier, but you have to be close to its center, works like barrier in that dozer front and flatbed rear

you forgot a command i can't remember how it goes have not used in a while i think it /getbarrierid (ask CBF to comfirm)

question: what if you are driving a flatbed but some 1 places barriers in a script abuse location like lspd gate with a dozer drives off and gets out of the dozer and the guy with the flatbed just happens to drive by LSPD and admins think he put them there? i hope they ask if they placed it or not if that was me i would remove it

you can drive it without a driver skin but you can't use /barrier

Im glad people will get bann for abuseing this it gets really annoying when im running from cops or chasing someone and theres just barriers all over teh place.
