http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/c/ce/Mucocele02-17-06cropped.jpg/745px-Mucocele02-17-06cropped.jpgThese bastards are some tough lumps that occur when skin trauma occurs. Eg, running into a pole, getting punched, biting down on your lip, etc.
Normally a lump on your lip would be a simple little lump that would go away sooner or later, but these fuckers stay around for a LOT longer and are NOT easy to get rid of.
Basically, it's a saliva gland getting disrupted and clogging up, then calcium builds up inside or some shit.
There's only 2-3 ways of getting rid of the bitches, by laser surgery, getting it cut out, or in rare cases they go away by them selves.
Some douchebag punched me in the face 3 months ago, and since then this huge lump has been terrorising my mouth, causing me unneccesary pain and making it hard for me to speak at times.
I'm finally going to the doctors on monday, and i'm only going to be told it's a Mucocele and that I need to get it removed by a specialist. So i'm not really looking forward to this shit, due to the fact that if the sugery disrupts any surrounding saliva glands, those bitches gonna come back as Mucoceles too!
Confused? I get the impression you are.
