Skyhawk Aeroclub - Introduction

Skyhawk Aeroclub is a pilot role-play group for players that like to share the skies with others and fly in packs. It is a civilian group, therefore we will use only light civilian aircraft (Dodo, Beagle, sometimes Skimmer). Main activites are practicing flying in formations (such as V or Diamond) and in general training for air-shows. The place of practice is located at the Abandoned Airstrip in Verdant Meadows - it's most suitable for training because of almost-none traffic and it's away from crowded areas - which reduces crashes (both meanings).

Skyhawk Aeroclub - The Beginning

The idea was born on 28th July 2009, at the Abandoned Airstrip in Verdant Meadows, Bone County. First take-off was only two Dodo's starting on countdown, and it was quite successful. Later on, more and more pilots joined the group and in the end we had 6+ aircraft in the formation, flying around northern Las Venturas and the desert. It was amazing to fly with so many skilled guys, and the awesomeness of this event has made me thought about starting an aero club.

Remember that there are only 3 Dodo's, and I am ALWAYS flying my Dodo. I guess you'll have to fight for the other two, or take turns
Well on the first meeting I'll check who handles which plane (Dodo or Beagle) better and we'll assign the planes to pilots.


Oh and one more thing - server restart is our friend, because it's very easy to find a plane. Unlike without a restart, where you have to search for planes in the middle of cities.
