Anyone ever heard of "Tomorrow when the war began"?
You have now. It's a book series based on an invasion of Australia by a foreign power and how 8 school children band up together to take them on in guerilla-type warfare.
Here's a synopsis of the book series:
ClickWell, anyway, last week my mum got a visitor..it was the Assistant Location Manager, Edward Donovan.
He basically asked her if the balcony we have overlooking the street it's being filmed in could be used as a prop, as in, put shit up there to make the scene a bit more fitting. It's a really old colonial street that used to be a prime shipping spot back in the early 1800s, late 1790s, right next to a river that runs the length of Newcastle, NSW, Australia.
I'll be using my phone to periodically take pictures and video of this film as it progresses. I'll post the pics/vids as I take them.
I'll edit the post with more info as I get it, as the Assistant Location Manager has asked to speak to my mum at a later date. I'm also planning on making shitloads of noise so they come and pay me to stop, so to make that work I'm just hoping my mum doesn't sign any agreements to limit noise or anything.
Also, links for you non-beleivers:
ClickClickClickNone of those say anything about the location of the filming, so consider yourselves lucky.
