Simple philosophy:

You can always tell what kind of person someone is by the choice in there weapon.

I would like people to comment on the weapon as well, as that adds some more meat on the posts, but if you want, you can only rate it  :redface:. I'm surprised that a topic like this didn't exist before.

This isn't a SA or VC weapon rating, it's real weapons.

Post a photo, as that would help the person rate it.

Any weapon, melee, firearm, etc. Anything from a sword to an assault rife.   :m4:  :sig:

Small notation, a dildo is only a weapon in SA, I REALLY don't want to see a bunch of photo's of them.  :wow:

I will start with probably one of my favorite weapons, the Glock 17.

It's a great weapon, especially given how popular it's become. I'd want it a better comment, but I can't really come up with much, lol.

I don't really get a chance to use firearms IRL, but this is my absolute favourite weapon on Insurgency.

I'll give it a 7/10. Snipers are as good and necessary as any other guns, but I'm more into handguns. No rifles, no machine guns, no sub machine guns - hand guns.

My favourite weapon is the Beretta 92FS, 9mm.


Handles like a dream(if it is correct and not broken of course), accelerates fast, nearly as a sub machine gun, depends on how the pipe and all those things in the interior is constructed. I have no good experience in weapons, but a little bit. Best handgun I know.

8/10, it's a nice modern weapon but  I have never liked awkward shaped weapons. For the most part, it's a pretty kick arse weapon.


Now this weapon, is something to be feared.

The M65, recoinless nuclear rifle.

4/10 - Rather than it's simple and not so strong, than it's very big and heavy and is very strong.
I guess the strength is the only benefit about it, but it's very clumsy and heavy - so it's not very useful nowadays.
Also, it is probably fun to shoot too(just as any other guns).

I'm posting the Glock 18. Has another length than the Glock 17, looks better too. I was about to post about Glock 17(pistol 88 in Swedish), but it's already posted recently, so I skipped it.

See if you can see any differences between the '17 and '18.

M249 Squad Automatic Weapon - Light Machine Gun

Classic look, reminds me of many games and movies. Powerful, heavy.
You feel like the king when you hold this sort of gun. I'll give it a 9,5/10.



The Sig Sauer P228. Known as the Swedish police original weapon.
You also can buy this handgun in Counter Strike.
Powerful when not long-range.

10/10, SIG's FTW!!! Standard issue for some police and federal agencies. All around great weapon, the whole SIG sidearm weapons are fear inspiring, gonna be putting a whole crap load of fear in the enemy, don't want to be against that gun, thats for sure.

I like those old UZI's. 9/10. It's like the only Sub Machine Gun I like, but not in-game. Because they are dual.
Still, I stick with handguns, that's why I didn't give a 10.


The Sig Sauer P226. I got this one but airsoft, looks the same though.
Looks alike the P228 model, you'll see difference between these models.
