Idea: Ideas to fix bugs.

Well there should be a chillboard under ideas how to fix bugs. Like command bugs etc.
Just so players could help dev's when they run out of ideas how to fix them

Most players who want to help the scripters have limited or no script knowledge

Those who have script knowledge make assumptions that our scripts are like other servers and so make suggestions on how bugs should be fixed when they have no idea how our scripts work

This idea would require making the scripts publicly visible, which can never happen

The scripters do not need help with fixing bugs, nor do we run out of ideas on how to fix them

You dont need to be script rockstar to have idea wich might not work. It wont harm anyone if people post an idea will it?

Which is why if players try to help us it will be pointless most of the time as they are more likely to have ideas which won't work than "script rockstars"

You're right it won't hurt, but it may be a waste of time...

Look at this bug report and tell me YOUR idea on how to fix it. When the bug is fixed I'll tell you how it was actually fixed and if your idea would have worked

Not sure if it will harm or not.

Our scripting team is busy with fixing bugs, and might not have the time to make discussions on what is possible or not in fixing the bugs.
Apart from that our team is not allowed to give out information on how the scripts work, which makes it kind of hard to explain why a suggested fix might or might not work.

I got no idea how to fix that but for example things like /giveweapon /storeweapon bugs i can suggest alot ideas how to fix them, and ofcourse the interior thingy if cop is out then suspects in can get unsuspected and so on. If i would think hard then i might even figure it out David.

@Gandalf: They dont need to they can just say if it works or not and if it dosent it might give idea with similiar thing.
