I'm very sorry for what happened to your grandpa. I also know what it's like when something like that happens.
My grandpa on my mothers side is currently suffering from breast cancer. (And for those who don't know, as I get this a lot, men
can get breast cancer too.

Hopefully nothing will happen to him as he is a great guy, an old fella but has served in long wars and does a lot for his community even in his condition.
However, my grandpa on my fathers side died when I was young. He was a great guy. He loved the game of golf and played in professional leagues. He used to take me out to the playgrounds and parks and places every week. At least you were able to be there by your grandpa's side. I remember waking up early (I don't remember what age I was, but I was quite young.) I walked out into the living room and I saw my dad crying on the phone because the hospital had just called saying he was dead. And now that I think of it, I think that's almost the only time, I have
ever seen my dad cry... Maybe some other times but not a lot.
I really hope things work out for you with your job and that your family will recover from the loss. Even though we must move on, we can still pay our respects.

Your friend,
-Mike
