Short Summary:
In many beliefs there are predictions of what will happen in the future. The bible, The Mayans, Egyptians, aborigines, St. Malachy, The Hopi and the Nostradamus... But it looks like all these predictions WERE right and very accurate. Also, they all seem to be similar if not precise. Now, there are still predictions and they seem to aim towards 2000 and up till 2012.

Your post is bullshit, you say that the predictions were right.  Last time I checked, humans still roam this planet.  All of those predictions are vague, and the Mayan Calender's ending doesn't mean the end of the world.

Also, those "translations" show dates.  None of the real sources show specific dates.  If they do, post pics, otherwise, this is a pretty shitty thread.

Well first "end of the world" was supposed to be in 1st January 2000. Well we survived it! (was predicted and such). Next one I think was in 2001 somewhere. Don't tell, the world didn't end. Then somewhere around September 2004 The world once again was supposed to end. umm, ok.
Latest what I heard was today from my dorm mate who said some asses predicted that world should end 09/09/09. That was yesterday? I wondered why I couldn't poop. In 2012 a Planet named Nibiru what is so close to us ( though no one has yet seen it) will collide with earth. Yeah Right!
Want a prediction that will come true! Tomorrow the world still exists!

Yeah, people have been doing this since day one. This isn't any different from the rest of the doomsday dates. This one has just gotten more attention than others.

You shouldn't be bothered about things like this, just get on with your day to day life, like Billy said, you can die at any given time, if you dwell on things like these you are just wasting your time that you could spend on other things and what if you die the next day in a car accident?

For example, I'm across the road thinking "Oh shit, the world could end in 2012" not thinking what I should be when walking across a road, and what happens? I could get ran-over and my life could end right there...

You die when you have to die, just make the most you can of life and live it to the full extent.
