I am sorry, but I have a question for all the metal fans. What do you like in that music? Whenever I hear it, it's awfully annoying my ears. I guess it's because of me liking house and pop-folk (national) music, but I still do not understand what would you like...

I like the guitar, the lyrics, the drums... I love everything about heavy metal.

As many have said. I love classic Heavy Metal, but the music today.. genres like Death Metal are (IN MY OPINION), a disgrace to the whole catagory of metal. Shouting deeply at the top of your voice lyrics about bleeding skulls and stuff annoys the fuck outta me, and what makes it worse is the musicianship involved.. The instruments are just destroyed in genres like this. :/ Deathcore is worse, but that isn't metal (thankfully) so I won't go into that.

I myself like melodic stuff, stuff that involves skill and all instruments have skill involved. Which is why I listen more to Prog Metal or Rock than just Heavy Metal..

But this doesn't mean I don't like Heavy Metal

First of all, sadly, Deathcore is metal, don't argue 'bout that. Death Metal is, even though it's your opinion, is just expanding the metal side to a more extreme way, that some people just don't like. Shouting, or screaming actually, is usually the un-talented do. Those who actually "sing" (Vocals) are those who growl. The gore thing , is just well, for the lulz for them, but luckily I don't listen to that Gore shit. Cannibal Corpse is a screaming/growling gore band, and it sucks. So basically, Death Metal, is just the extreme side of Heavy Metal. Deathcore is shit, and is a disgrace to metal, along with Metalcore.
