Everyone felt like that once. Felt left out, or else.
I saw many people coming, i saw many people go... Only a few people i know have stayed from the moment i joined. The rest is purely new.
I've felt bad to, have been seeing new people all the time, new characters.. I felt bad more than once to, but if you really feel bad, just log off and go do some good things in life, some times you really can get overstressed by playing the same game over and over, relax, feel free, but keep yourself on the rules, eh

I guess you just stopped feeling like this because of your rank, as people would start acting nice to you, but still hating you (without ofcourse showing it) and this is all because of the position you have.
Ask a couple of questions here and there and you'll see what your reputation is...

If you want some comfort, check a lot of players and Admins player profiles and check the old posts from the beginning, you might notice that they didn't exactly have much "reputation".

Just like everyone else has said, go in-game to have fun, you will slowly make more friends, just have patience...
