Firstly isn't the newly proclaimed GSF gang house in BS territory?

Secondly, i totally agree with JC and Daniel, how can you claim land that is no where near anything you own? :trust: In my humble opinion, unless I see your buildings or your members constantly hanging around there, you don't own it in my eyes

However, if we're ignoring the above rule, can ALS claim the entire of the unclaimed LV territory? No one else is using it I feel bad because we have the least amount of territory

Correct me if im wrong, in my opinion, this is a bullcrap idea. This is only gonna create more rivalries among the gangs. As said, u cant claim the whole area if u own only a house in that particular area. And besides, judging by the number of new gangs coming up, good luck with distributing the territories amongst all the gangs. As the saying goes : ""There are more mouths to feed than there is grain in the sack !!!""


PS : I wonder if the admins approve this.

I've got to say that the idea is noble, but certainly not a good idea, Pandalink. People aren't going to be able to handle this. In one way or another, there will be territories crossing, people angry, then the flaming and death-matching begins, gang wars over territory Et cetera. Gangs today have enough problems, without wars starting over a map that was made of territories.

Oh, and as we've seen by a gang that will not be named, but you all know who, people will claim a ton of area for their gang and then expect that no other gang crosses it, which, again, creates gang wars, flaming, etc.

  ALS have a business turf. Wherever there is a convoy of ALS, we will eliminate competition  . But seriously, your all in way over your heads. Lets keep it simple: Your 'territory' is the land that you own. You can say your territory is over a large area, but my advice is not to print it all over the forum, because, like Yeah_ok pointed out, you cannot possibly own any land you wish. I'm surprised Dave has intruded yet, but im sure he would say something along the lines of "There is no territory, this makes gang wars,it is Government land". 
  If you want lots of 'territory' ... buy a farm. Some cows perhaps and defend your crops!

Personally, I believe that if there is a dispute then the leaders of the clan can come to me, the MapDude  . Something agreeable will be arranged.

As you can see, the ML territory was ridiculous - it has been majorly pushed back. If anyone wants to complain, complain to me in a PM and I will sort it out  .

And to show how agreements can be found - the currently marked gangs within San Fierro are in agreement (I believe).

At this point, before making any more comments, i would like to know if this idea is totally approved by all admins. Thats all i want to know for the moment. Because, their decisions r the final decisions.

Sure yeah, i am a bit confused though, ML's members are in all kindsa gangs and clans since it's just an RPG group, so say for an example ML has a load of [BS] members, if the [BS] members are hanging around their territory is it ML territory too? :trust: Or are you saying that when ML are RPing as a gang and hanging out that's the territory they own. If the second point is true i never see anyone hanging around in the proclaimed ML CS territory far south near angel pine so how'd you manage to get that?

By the way im not getting at you, i really like this idea, i think some sort of system like this really gives the gangs substance and a reason and i love it (providing that we can all settle differences civilly of course!)

Obviously yeah, the admins word is final but i don't see why they would disapprove much, i hope that they trust members to act with dignity and poise when sorting out any problems that may arise, ok if it does start DMing and flaming going on then lets scrap it but i can't see how that would happen if people just PM panda and he helps people sort out any conflicts they may have. (Plus they can stop it being talked about on the forums but i can secretly update the map by myself and talk to others about it Free speech for life!)

The point of my constant nagging is that, its Government property we're talking about. No one can claim whats theirs and whats not, without the actual Green Flag signal from the admins., unless they paid for that particular area.

I dont know about u guys, but i dont see any positive outcome of this. This is surely gonna lead to war, flamming DM and what not. Take for instance, i was crusing around South of San Fierro area few days ago, and i managed to land up in an area where the CMs (now Corleane) were hanging around. I stepped out of the car, to check out the area. Then the leader of Corleane gang comes up to me and says that "sir, this is a private property !!"" , which actually wasnt , cos they didnt own any of the land there except a Remington parked in the lot. I had to leave the area, which technically wasnt owned by them.

I have nothing against the corleanes. I took this up, just to share the oncoming circumstances which may arise in a more aggressive manner. If it was a DM gang instead of the Corleanes, then i wouldnt have been coming out of there alive.

Thats my 2 cents in this whole Territories idea. And i hope the admins jump in and give their version.
