The only thing we can do is to wait for Winters to contact his "friend" again.

Why should his friend, go on some forum and write that he passed away? I mean, who even think about the internet when someone died? Seriously.. If I had lost my friend and he like played on a server with a forum or if he had a msn with multiple contacts, I wouldn't even bother to write to them. I'd talk to his relatives and support them, and of course, talked to guys from the school or w/e about it.

Actually, do you know how some people, when they turn on their computer they have their MSN autolog in? Maybe his friends accessed his computer and the MSN autologged in which is how they were able to get on his account.

But then again, why would it be his "friends" telling us this and not his relatives?

I strongly beleive this is a joke/prank...
I accessed an extremely comprehensive croatian based news website that is amazingly efficent and has 20+ pages of news reports per DAY. They'd have reported on this, which they didn't.
Unfortunately, I think this is a prank and until I find evidence to point otherwise, it stays that way. I tried for hours to track down any smidgen of info I could and I found nothing..not to brag but usually when doing things like that it takes me under 10 mins, so I am sure that i'd have found something if it was true.

I am from Croatia, and I didn't see anything about 18 year old died in car accident or something like that on television or in newspapers...
I don't know this guy, probably he came when I was inactive so I couldn't meet him...
I personally think this is not truth, but if he actually died then RIP.

First one says about 24 years old guy who died in a car accident on the country road Plitvice - Korenica (He drove out from the road, because of the high speed, and flipped his car)

Other one says about 17 years old who died in a hospital in Karlovac.
He died because of car accident which happened at 2:00 AM, on the night from Saturday to Sunday...
He had hard injuries in the chest so he had to go on operation, but unfortunately he died.
