Yet I have a scar on my wrist from where a Poodle bit me and shattered my wrist.

Well...

It can be the breed of the dog. I read something about a friendly family dog that went nuts and either seriously hurt or killed a seven year old kid without warning. That whole breed was nervous-like and unpredictable...
