My story.

After a month or so of playing on this server, I thought it'd be good to write about my impressions. I haven't really thought about writing here day or two after I started playing, since I wasn't sure about staying here, but now, when some time passed, I feel like doing so.

It was beginning of October, and I was still playing Wolfenstein ET. Unfortunately, server I was playing on got more popular, and one could rarely find an empty slot to connect and play. I decided to find another game to play and ditch the rather monotonous Wolfenstein in favor of another multiplayer game. Accidentally, during next day, a friend dropped by and gave me back my GTA: San Andreas disc, so I installed it again for fun. While I looked for some cheats on GTA:SA fansite, I discovered the link to SA:MP, downloaded it and tried it.

I haven't looked at any other servers beside official ones. Argonath had lowest ping, so I chose my old name John_Aywar, and connected. First impression was: "whoah, this shit is awesome!" Then I was introduced to Xander, who was part of Koltsov family at that time, and who became my teacher here. Soon after that and some events that occurred, we decided to start our own family, Santiago, and take El Corona as our hood, or el barrio, as we must say in game. We gained few more members who were interested to join. Of course, many problems started there; conflicts with 13th Street Locotes over El Corona were just a small part of that. All changed after a few migrations, from El Corona to Verona Beach, from Verona Beach to Fort Carson, and most recent, from Fort Carson to Bayside.

During this time I've met a dozen of amazing people who left both good and bad impressions on me, got my status as LSDS teacher, bought a car and a house (with huge help from many people).

I can only say that I plan to stay here for a while, and that I'm glad that things happened in this order. Good job to people who manage this server, and good luck to people who play on it.

Beautiful, very beautiful. I hope you stay as long as Argo is around. I know i will. Just like when i get my job i plan on Donating monthly. Only few more months. Good to have you with us Aywar, your my Calrone in game and i am looking forward to language lessons on msn. Great Story. now we go from bayside to El corona XD. Which we pretty much own all of. Go Santiago  . I didnt know you made a topic in intro or i would have read it sooner.

Simply because: 1) I use that nick everywhere except Last.fm 2) It is a unique nick 3) I love eating ajvar, obviously.
