Do any of you actually use the shotgun attachment for your guns? I basically finished all of the challenges for all of my assault rifles, but I never used the shotgun. If you do use it, could you tell me if it's any good? Like, does it actually help you in any way?
Heck yeah it's useful. It's bloomin' awesome to use if you're, for example, storming a building of which you suspect enemies are inside. As Ryan said, it's quicker to use than a shotgun sidearm, and also leaves an extra weapon slot open for, let's say, a rocket launcher.
If you find yourself swooping buildings regularly for enemies, then I highly suggest using this attachment. You may want to use the 'Bling' perk also, if you like to use the Red Dot Sight, or another sight.
