Mission Statement

The Ministry of Good Intentions | Ravenwood | is directly responsible for programs and policies which establish and support community quality of life programs for service members and their families within the Argonath community. This office also serves as the focal point for coordination of the broad range of Quality of Life issues within the Department of Defense. Specifically, the Deputate performs the following
functions:

*   Provides for family support policies and programs in such areas as family center operations, child care , youth programs , family advocacy, relocation , transition support services, and support during mobilization and deployment (including casualty affairs).
*   Provides policy and management direction for dependents'
education programs stateside and overseas to ensure that educational services are of uniformly high quality.
*   Establishes program policy for mission sustaining and basic community programs for Morale, Welfare and Recreation, Voluntary and Post-Secondary Education and coordinates the services of non-profit agencies such as the Red Cross, Argonath Army and the Argonath Police Department
*   Provides policy and program oversight to ensure that military community quality of life programs are designed and executed to support the needs of the post-drawdown force and the Defense mission.

Rules

*   Respect each other.
*   Respect authority.
*   Do not DM.
*   Do not carry out an order unless given one.
*   During a mission, you will not leave unless given the choice by your acting commander.
*   Obey the Laws/Rules set forth by the government of The United States of Argonath.

Punishment

*   The Strike System - After breaking the rules 3 times, you will be demoted and/or suspended from The Ministry of Good Intentions. The only person who can give strikes is the leader of the Ministry of Good Intentions.
*   You may appeal a strike if you receive one. Appeal with the reason you received a strike and why you think it should be stricken from your record.


Requirements to Join

For many young Argonathians, the benefits of serving can be tremendous: training, honor, education, travel, pay and self-discovery. However, military service is not for everyone. It requires self-discipline, intense physical work and time away from family and friends while protecting Argonath and its citizens at home and abroad. For some, these commitments impose too great a burden.

Young people need support as they consider their life path. Above all, know that each decision - to serve our country or not to serve - is personal, vital and honorable.
