JAILBREAK! from Mordor Prison -- Event Megathread!

is for discussion for the next Jailbreak's rules/guidelines!



This event will require good role play skills for the "main" jobs.

Event Storyline:
(From the Argonath Newspaper:)
LAS VENTURAS, Argonath -
     *PRISONER* was arrested and charged for two counts of murder and rape, and three charges of illegal sale of narcotics.
Police received a 9-1-1 call at approximately 6:15pm last night, where sounds of cries of help were sounding from. There was no conversation with the dispatcher. The Sheriff's Division of San Andreas arrived on scene only a minute after the 911 dispatch came out over the radio. As the Deputies came inside the residence, they caught *PRISON* in the act of murdering two females, including 20 year old Janice Jakespike, and her sister who was a minor. Forensics showed that the females were also sexually assualted, and the San Andreas County Sheriff's Coroner pronounced them dead on arrival. *PRISONER* attempted to evade arrest by police, but after a short vehicle pursuit, crashed into the river and was extricated by Argonath Fire Department. *PRISONER* was later arrested at the Las Venturas Memorial Hospital. *PRISONER* was convicted of all charges by the Superior Court of Argonath, and sentenced to death, and is to be executed on *DATE/TIME*.

The *MAFIA* Mafia/Gang has decided that this treatment from the Argonath Government is unfair, and that the prisoner doesn't deserve such a fate. They have recruited local help as well as paid off Officers for corruption to break this prisoner out of prison and save his life.

The Argonath Military will have hydras flying through the skies of Mordor, so helicopter escapes will be impossible (will not actually have hunters or hydras, this is for RP only to disallow the use of aircraft).

Police Tips:
- The Criminals will only have a few ways to get in, giving you the advantage.
- Do not leave the prisoner alone!
Criminal Tips:
- Outgun the Police!
- Boats are allowed, use this to your advantage!

What will happen, and what is the fate of this Argonathian Prisoner?

Event Rules:
1) Any weapons that are bought or obtained may be used (no weapon hacking!)
2) Death matching will not be allowed. Once slain, you are forfeit! (No return once killed except to watch!)
3) Must be signed up for the event to participate
4) The "prisoner" must NOT be killed, once the prisoner is broken out they may be taken hostage, or whatever the winners want to do with them (within server rules). If the "prisoner" is not broken out, the Police get to decide his fate (within server rules).
5) I will attempt to get a payday or something similar for those who participate, overall it's just for fun!
6) POLICE CORRUPTION: There will be NO penalty for Police Corruption from this event. Once the event is over, if you continue to corrupt, you can be in trouble... However, you CAN be suspected for corruption during this event! THIS IS ONLY DURING THE EVENT. Once the event is OVER, you CANNOT be corrupt safely!
7) No helicopters/planes.
8) The prisoner may not fight, until a criminal or corrupt cop gives him a weapon to fight with (can say /me gives the prisoner a gun, then the prisoner can shoot until disarmed)

Who can participate:
- Any group!
- All police, civilians, gangs, anyone who wishes to participate!
- Police may go corrupt!
- Criminals can go vigilante!
- All admins/moderators
- Anyone looking for fun!

Special Recruitments or Notices:
None so far, just break the prisoner out of jail!
IF THE PRISONER IS KILLED, THE EVENT IS OVER!


You do not have to be in a group to participate. Just reply and say "I'm in!"

That was my goal, try to get as many of the groups involved as possible just by the storyline alone.

I've broke out of mordor twice, It's not hard.

All you need is about 5 armoured heavily armed mobsters, and a couple of corrupt cops.

oh, and a heli.

If you have a good role play storyline, a good police force and a dedicated mob without the ability of using helicopters, you have yourself a good fun jailbreak!

Plus, it's much more hard to take out 5 armoured heavily armed mobsters when there's 20 of them, and even harder for them when there's 40 FBI/SWAT/Police units armed and heavily armed, too!!

Imagine if we got a good 40 criminals v. 20 cops match, that'll be worth going to!!

hehe sounds great.. I was worried about enough Police presence, but it seems it's the criminals that we're lacking. Hopefully we can get Corleone and Gvardia involved, that'll be a run for our money!
