Hello, I have opened topic about my problem in the GTA.
Well,2 days ago,I bought laptop for my birthday.
After this,I installed my GTA on 6 discs.
All was installed and okay,just clear,without any mods.
After i entered the game,few minutes later,i was frozen (Sometimes not ) and i crashed.
I'll pay to who will help me to fix the problem.
If the game will go clear without crashes,he will be rewarded with 15,000$.

I recommend you to downgrade your "GTA_SA.exe" File. To USA Version. i had this same problem...

the solution is simple :
1. Go to the GTA SA directory
2. Right click the gtasa.exe file. Click Properties
3. Go to the compatibility tab.
4. Change the compatibility to Windows 98/ME or Windows XP SP2
5. Re-install the SA-MP client.
6. Play.
7. Enjoy

if it didnt work then theres something more to it.

This is only for Vista, and mostly when game is not working.
Maybe it is something ingame, that causes crash? House/bizz name?
You can try asking admin to teleport you when you login.

And by the way - Laptops are not good for gaming.

There are many possibilities why it doesnt work.

First of all, describe the problem more detailed, it would be easier for us to help you have. Where does it EXACTLY crash? Since you have a new laptop, it's almost impossible your laptop can't run GTA:SA.

Anyway here are some things you can try:
1. Go to documents -> gta SA folder.
2. Delete gta_sa.set

This problem you can get for changing the video options. by deleting gta_sa.set you will fix the problem.


Have you updated your video card drivers? Since you have an ATI card, go to the ATI manufacturer. http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.HTML

If you have updated your drivers and it still crashes, try to reinstall your game fully. and then test it


I dont know if you have updated your game right away afterwards but that's worth a shot too. patch your game to the latest version, see if it fixes your crashes.
