Applied for administrator work?

I hope this shows a valuable lesson to those who complain that admins do nothing when they report, being a admin is a very tough job as you can see from those screenshots.

Well perhaps next time whe you say the chat is spamming think about this one :

If I am on as cop I get:
- Public chat
- Local chat
- Cop radio
- Admin chat
- Developer message  (can include things like CB radio)
- PM

Chat can be moving a 10 lines a second for me.

When I go on a non-admin account I actually think the game is frozen.... :roll:

That's why the main admins / owners are not on for a lot time like the other admins I guess :P besides in-real reasons.. that must be really hard to keep an eye on... 10 lines a sec :S

Yea it gets crazy. I have never been an admin on SA:MP, BUT i have been a owner of a chain of 10-15 Servers with my 27 yr old friend from Pheonix University. That was very rough, i will never do that many servers again. We pretty much Ran the actual game. StarSeige Tribes, 1,2 and Torque. It was rough due to all the Mods, CTF, RPG, Dueling Arena etc. Had to remember every command. Also had to Script New Weapons into the Reality Mod we had. We had some funny Scenario's of the time . So all in all, if your a Major Rp'er and constantly RP, dont go for Admin just to be 'the man' it will get you no where, trust me. Have Fun, Good Luck.

ps. If you want a laugh i can get some of them Scenario's. I can gurantee if your having a very bad day It will fix it. I laugh every time i just think of it  :roll: .

We have our busy days and we have our slow days sometimes i can't even read public chat since am being sent tons of pms about stuff (mostly new ppl asking for help and ppl wanting tp's plus namechanges) then when the reports come flooding in... jesus.  It why i usually do /pagesize 20 but even at that i can get up to 10 reports on my screen aswell as other admin stuff.

Good when it's quiet as you can do some Roleplay or just hang around with new people. (you get some laughs )

i remember back in my admin days..

BANG no scripts....

All Admins killed them self...

became cops
and started Roleplaying cops(admins) to stop rule breakers

then once the scripts returned

in sa-mp... i got nearly that amount of PMs but there was more /reports, cash unbalences, speed hacks. so much it was like HEKKERS!!!

And then it's not only the spam you could be able to handle ^^.
For example: are you able to ignore provoking and don't get angry etc

Admin work is not just 'Spamming' or avoiding spam. It is something your responsible for. What I mean by that, you must be ABLE to Answer newbie or regular questions. Help newbies, have a visual on how the admin team co-operate, Respect others. Once again, Admin is not just a RANK but a job you have to do. Not just going rombo with admin commands, but doing the job correctly.

That is very easy to say...
It's a hard moral strike... You cannot roleplay, you cannot do even admins work properly... After such a flood you get "Stop f**king ignore me"...

You understand that player thinks he is the one who types to you, that is not the rules break... So all you have to do - to be patient... Or just leaving the server cos you are already pissed off...

You can learn to live with it... But usually you just drop it...

Through the commitment and traits of people, we are all capable of nurturing others. This cultural aspect of only being able to help others as a low level administrator is imprudent in my view. We are all capable of achieving the value of self satisfaction by helping others in unconventional ways. These methods are in use by a select minority of keen community helpers, which is being successfully driven to date. Perhaps we should retract ourselves from this administrator stigma, and open our eyes to what can be achieved through honest and open player participation.
