The first clan I joined was the Argonath Veterans, and I only joined after playing for more than one year, nearly moving on to two.  I've been with them for quite a few months already, and do enjoy it thoroughly.

As for gangs/mafias, the only one I ever joined was back when I first joined the server.  I joined the Solonik brotherhood, and was actually invited by it's founder, whom I believe is Knoot if I remember correctly - or something of that sort.  I did enoy every bit of Solonik, and it was a very well organised brotherhood.  I'm not sure about how active and organised it is at the moment though.  I left Solonik after a few months though, and chose to remain as an officer from then on.

BL had double the amount of players. They hold many records of VCMP groups
such as most players in game - most members recruited in a day. Montana have a far way to go to be the 'best'
Anyway I'm sure it was just an opinion. But you should make it more clear so you do not mislead people

My first group was Grove Street Families back at the start of 2008, With [GSF]Big_Smoke and that lot, I cant realy remember much about it though, Then went onto my favourite gang of all time (Montana) With Rafael_Montana ([Rstar]Fernando) And became the leader of it after a while and stayed at lead for a long time untill i closed it (for now) a month or so ago.

It all started with _Vice. My name on the server was "cop" and, well, Zun ([AV]Zun, Zun_Vice) approached me asking if I wanted to be part of his new gang. He said that in order for me to join I would have had to change my name to something a bit more realisitc. Back then I wanted to be part of Leone, and wanted Vincent_Leone (something Italian) since IC my character was from Liberty City and had relations with Leone. Silly me I didn't know I had to change to the last name of the gang. And, well, that's where Vincent_Vice came from. Luckily it died out in a few days because I still had the tag when making my LSPD (old LSPD) application, and would've been rejected by Luca if it was still up and running. :razz:

when I first started out, i was kidnaped and taken to Vank Hoff Hotel in SF by Leone mafia, then they beat my ass with bats and said to join them or im dead, so i joined them... leader was Sonny I believe.. 

then like 1-2 weeks later it closed down, so i left and made my own Russian Mafia group [RM], was hella noob squad group!
with Cofi, weedcop (now Danyial), Lobbin (now JayL i think), MrFuture (Jay_Parker i believe), and JohhnyJaz - who left argo like 1yr ago, i still keep in touch with him on msn with him.

good and bad old memories...
